ABOUT BARTLETT, IL – HAPPY TO BE YOUR HOMETOWN HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING CONTRACTOR!
Located in northern Illinois is a large village known as Bartlett. It is positioned in Cook, DuPage, and Kane counties. The village is located about 35 miles from downtown Chicago. According to the United States Census Bureau, there were approximately 41,178 people living in Bartlett in 2016.
Original inhabitants of the area Bartlett is located in were Potawatomi, Ottawa, Miami, and Cherokee Indians. The aforementioned tribes primarily used the land for hunting and camping. In 1843, Massachusetts native Luther Bartlett arrived in Illinois. Luther used the area to harvest lumber. In the 1870s, the Chicago & Pacific Railroad built a train station on a 40-acre woodlot donated by Luther. The train station brought life to the present community. In 1891, Bartlett became incorporated as a village.
Modern-day Bartlett has retained its small-town charm although it has developed as a major village. Residents of Bartlett are provided the conveniences of modern-day facilities and amenities. Located in downtown Bartlett is the Bartlett Municipal Complex, historic Depot Museum, a Metra commuter station, Bartlett Chamber of Commerce, and the Bartlett Center for the Arts. The family-friendly Village of Bartlett is an excellent place to live and provides opportunities for all people.
Bartlett residents find it necessary to have access to cooling and heating systems. During the months of June, July, and August, daytime temperature highs range from the mid to upper-80s. When heat waves pass through Bartlett, temperatures will climb to the mid-90s. Cooling systems like central air conditioning units are necessary for residents who want to remain comfortable in their homes when waves of warm air pass through the village.
In addition cooling systems, Bartlett residents should have heating systems installed in their homes. Winters in the village tend to be very harsh. Freezing temperatures and snowfall are common. Heating pumps are best equipped to be installed in the homes of Bartlett residents. When temperatures drop, an efficient heating system may literally be a lifesaver.
