Mark Portuese, Owner of On The Mark Heating and Air met Mitzi and her resilient family earlier this year. Mitzi has a wonderful spirit and has been a caregiver for the majority of her life. Most recently she has taken on the responsibility of caring for her two grandchildren after the unexpected loss of her son and daughter-in-law. She is also caring for her husband, Dan who has severe dementia. Dan is a retired Chicago Firefighter and Paramedic after 28 years of service.
Mitzi and her family have faced unimaginable hardships with unwavering hope and strength. In the spirit of community and compassion, the On The Mark team, in partnership with Daikin Comfort Technologies, is donating a brand-new furnace and air conditioner to alleviate the financial burden on this remarkable family. Our aim is to provide comfort and peace of mind so they can focus on what matters most—their family and health.
