Mark Portuese founded On The Mark after spending 18 years in HVAC, moving from maintenance tech through service, installation, and system design. He’s NATE-certified and sets the standard our technicians work toward. If you’re weighing heating and air conditioning companies in Hoffman Estates, see what your neighbors are saying in our customer reviews — and if we’ve taken care of your home or business, we’d be grateful for one from you, too.
On The Mark Heating & Air is a family-owned and operated HVAC contractor based in Hoffman Estates, serving Schaumburg Township. You get heating, cooling, and indoor air quality expertise from the same team, so you don’t need three different contractors to keep your home comfortable.
We know this community, and we size and service equipment for local conditions. Chicago-area winters bring subfreezing stretches and close to 30 inches of snow, and summer humidity keeps cooling equipment cycling almost without a break. Equipment that handles both must match the house and how it’s used, not just fit the square footage.
Our HVAC Services in Hoffman Estates start with a whole-home performance analysis that covers airflow, static pressure, duct condition, insulation, and how your system behaves once it’s running.
Our Hoffman Estates heating and cooling work covers four areas for homes and businesses across this part of Cook County.
We know how cold winters can get here. We service all gas and electric furnaces, plus year-round heat pumps.
Many Hoffman Estates homeowners opt for a heat pump, which covers winter and summer. Our team provides:
Summer here means heat, humidity, and long stretches where your air conditioner runs nearly nonstop. When your air conditioning isn’t working or isn’t working well, it’s hard to feel comfortable at home. We provide:
Most repair calls involve issues we can fix in one visit. A spring tune-up often catches those issues before they become a bigger issue when the heat and humidity roll in.
For Illinois homes, humidity control usually improves air quality. Winter heating pulls indoor humidity low enough to dry out sinuses and split wood trim, and summer is hot and damp. We’ll find a solution for the following air quality issues:
We install, repair, and maintain commercial heating, cooling, and air quality systems for businesses, big and small, and we understand that if your business isn’t comfortable, you could be losing money. Our commercial customers include these categories:
It can be hard to know who to trust, but it shouldn’t be. Our visits take longer because we inspect the whole system before recommending anything. Our team tests each part as we go to make sure your new system works the way you need it to when we’re done. On The Mark is fully insured, and we’re transparent and honest with our pricing and solutions. Since HVAC issues often arrive at inconvenient times, we offer financing and seasonal specials.
Hoffman Estates has grown since 1955, when it had only one subdivision east of Roselle Road. From original ranches to newer construction out toward Prairie Stone, if your home or business has HVAC issues, our team’s local knowledge speeds up diagnosis so we can find you a solution. We work throughout the Schaumburg area, including Streamwood, Bartlett, Roselle, Algonquin, and South Elgin.
